ACUMSA (Acıbadem University Medical Students Association) was established in 2022 through the merger of two student organizations at Acıbadem University: Acıbadem TÖB (Medical Students’ Union) and EMSA Acıbadem. The merger united different traditions and experiences to create a stronger, single platform representing medical students within the faculty. ACUMSA operates as a student association that strengthens communication among students and supports their academic, social, and professional development.
The association’s primary aim is to foster unity, solidarity, and cooperation among Acıbadem University medical students. Through scientific events, educational programs, social responsibility projects, and national–international student networks, ACUMSA contributes to students’ professional growth and helps them increase their academic knowledge while embracing the ethical and humanistic values of the medical profession.
ACUMSA’s working approach centers student participation and a culture that is inclusive and open to development. The association provides a platform where medical students can generate ideas, take responsibility, and actively contribute to current health topics. In this way, ACUMSA supports students in developing not only academically but also in leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
